Happy Birthday Sir Peter Ustinov- Voice of Prince John in Robin Hood!

Today is the birthday of Sir Peter Ustinov, who was born today April 16th 1921 in London, England - who famously voiced the immature lion Prince John who heartlessly rules England as a regent for his brother, crusader King Richard Lionheart. Robin Hood is definitely the hero of the story, but without the voice and character brought to the role of Prince John, the story who just not be the same!

Robin Hood, was always a fun Disney movie to watch growing up! All the characters added to the film, and all of them added to the amazing community even during the ruthless rule of Prince John. There are many familiar voices in this animated Disney movie. Of course, we cheer for all the heroes of the story (although Robin Hood is the obvious one that is celebrated); I think all of the characters in their own way give hope to each other, and in that - they are all heroes; working together, trying to help everyone to survive, trying to help everyone continue to have hope against all odds - or at least in the face of feeling like there should be no hope. Then the community can see Robin Hood fighting against and winning against the hard that they have been facing. What a wonderful thing to see that evil, will ultimately not conquer - but goodness.

Robin Hood has sweetness, goodness, funny moments, and heroes of all shapes and sizes saving the day. The lesson? We can all be heroes.

Ultimately Richard The Lionheart returns home, and takes his rightful place as the kind King that treat his people and community well. AND? There's love and romance.

If  you would like to celebrate, and have a Disney Meal to celebrate with - this is a fun one!
