We have loved watching Remy show us that passion goes a long way. Remy did have a talent for putting spices and foods together, but with more practice, help from his friend Linguine, and aspiring words from his friend Gusteau - he learned how to work on his skills, talents, and friendships - and bring them to an even better level! To the point that even the hardest critic in his field took notice, and was won over by his talent and skill.
Which goes to show:
✨Your skills and talents are special and important, and when you find what you really love - chase it!
✨You may not start in the most perfect family for your talent/skill, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get there! Linguine was a son of the biggest chef and couldn’t cook; and Remy was a rat “not meant” to be a chef-but they became a great team!
✨Talent/Skill/Passion are wonderful, but keep learning and working to improve so that you can refine. If you find something you love to do, it will become a joy and less work.
What do you love about this movie? We actually made Ratatouille for this meal, and it took some time because I wanted it to look like the movie’s - but it was worth the wait!
